COME TO RCIA AND LEARN WHAT HAS DEARBORN COUNTY CATHOLICS EXCITED ABOUT THEIR FAITH!

The members who came into the church at the Easter Vigil of 2023 would like to invite all non-Catholic friends and family to mark their calendars for September 14th. This is when we start classes so friends and family can learn more about the Catholic faith.

If they like what they hear, they will be welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2024. Call the All Saints parish office at 812-576-4392 or St. Lawrence- St Mary- St Teresa parish office at 812-537-3992 to register. You are encouraged to invite your non-Catholic friends and family to register.

RCIA - RIGHT OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

What is RCIA?

Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Learn more about the Catholic Church’s process here:

How Does RCIA Work at Our Parishes?
We will be meeting as one group with interested participants from all four parishes – St. Lawrence, St. Mary’s, St. Teresa, and All Saints.  All classes will be held at the St. Martin Campus. Father Hollowell will lead the various classes this year.

Adults at all stages of their faith journey are welcome:

† Curious about the Catholic Church
† Interested in becoming a Catholic
† Desiring to return to the Catholic Church
† Desiring to deepen understanding of Catholic theology
† Who are non-Catholic spouses
† Who have not been confirmed

Participants are encouraged to attend all meetings but if a lesson is missed, previously recorded topical discussions can be found by clicking HERE.

Please call the parish office at 812-537-3992 or contact our RCIA Coordinator, Cindy White eandcwhite88@gmail.com for more information.
