ST. TERESA BENEDICTA OF THE CROSS CAMPING LIABILITY WAIVER

In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under MY SUPERVISION, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, I and all persons listed above, agree to the following Waiver and Release: 

I hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, including all clergy, employees, parishioners and volunteers, of all liability for injuries caused by, but NOT LIMITED TO, the following activities: CAMPFIRES, HIKING, FISHING, SWIMMING, PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, PLANNED EVENTS, SPEED BUMPS, BICYCLE OR MOTORCYCLE USE, GOLF CARTS, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS AND ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE. I acknowledge that camping has many hazards and there are risks which cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment. We are here of our free will, and entirely at our own risk. We understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise by our own or others’ negligence or conditions on the premises, or the conditions or our use of amenities offered at the premises, or related to travel to and from the premises. Nonetheless, we assume all related risks, both known and unknown. 

I hereby acknowledge that St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay. My signature below confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property, without refund and without advanced notice, for failure to follow said rules and policies. I hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all parties listed below during our stay at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross for purposes of event documentation and oversight. Names will not be published. My signature confirms that I have a valid rabies certificate for any pets in my party. A copy will be provided if necessary or requested. 

I have read the above carefully, I clearly understand and voluntarily sign this waiver and release agreement. I have also discussed this waiver with all persons in my party and they have authorized me to sign this waiver on their behalf (required). This waiver and release of liability shall remain in effect for the duration of my presence at the premises.
