St. Teresa Family Formation and Middle School Classroom 2024-25

Please read through the following details concerning our primary formation offerings for St. Lawrence, St. Mary's, and St. Teresa parishes.  This will give you a brief summary before deciding which offering is best suited for your family.  If you have questions concerning our programming or this online registration, please contact kimsprague@dccatholics.com.

 

For Parents with Children Grades K - 8:

All families with children grades K-8 are expected to enroll their child in one of our formation offerings at St. Lawrence, St. Mary's, or St. Teresa.  As a summary, these options include:

• St. Lawrence Catholic School-  Call 812-537-3690 if you have questions or need to register your child for the upcoming school year.  

• St. Mary's Religious Education-  Weekly classes for grades K-8, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm, following a traditional CCD format.  Email kimsprague@dccatholics.com for the link to register for this program.

• St. Teresa Family Formation-  Focusing on formation for the entire family, this program requires attendance of parent or guardian and children for twice monthly meetings.  This program is open to families with children grades K-8, families with younger children (babysitting offered), and adults of any age who simply want to continue learning about their faith and grow in community with other faith-filled families.  Please complete this online registration to enroll.

• Homeschooling with intentional age-appropriate religious education.  Since there is no parish program involved, parents are asked to contact kimsprague@dccatholics.com with sacramental preparation needs.

 

Sacramental Prep Registration

First Sacraments for Reconciliation and Holy Communion-  Baptized children in second grade and up who are participating in one of the four formation options listed above are welcome to prepare to receive First Holy Communion.

Confirmation-  Confirmation prep is offered to all high school youth.  This program will be offered at All Saints for the 2024-25 school year and all Dearborn County Catholics are welcome to register.  If you have a teen needing the Sacrament of Confirmation, please email kimsprague@dccatholics.com.
